At present, the novelcoronavirus-infectedpneumoniahas affectedmany provinces, autonomous regions andmunicipal citiesin China. Bythe time of24:00 on January 26, a totalnumberof 70 confirmed caseshave beenreported inAnhuiprovince, and 7of themareinMaanshan.

"Theinfectionsituation inAnhuiprovince will continue to show an upward trend," according to theHealthCommissionof Anhui ProvinceonJanuary 27.In order to implement the important instructions of general secretary，XiJinping,and in accordance with the requirements of theMinistry ofEducation,the People’sGovernmentof Anhui Provinceandthe Department ofEducation ofAnhui province,Anhui University of Technology (AHUT) hasattached great importance to the prevention and controlworkof theinfectionand all departments andschools have takeneffectivemeasuresto implement the prevention and control workfor the emergency.

Everyoneat this time shouldbear his share of the responsibility.In accordance with the deployment and requirements ofthesuperiors, in line with the principle of being responsible to allteaching staff,students and the society, in order to better deal with the prevention and controlof the infection, and to block thesources of virusspreadingto the maximum extent, the following five requirements are proposed:

1. Conscientiously abide by theLaw of the People's Republic of China on the PreventionandRegulations onEmergencyResponse toPublicHealthEmergencies.Everyone is supposedto actively cooperate with the relevantlocalmanagementforprevention and controlwork. AllAHUTstaff andresidentsshould consciously accept the management of the related prevention and controlworkinMaanshan. Those who have recently returned toMaanshanfromother cities in Chinashould register as required andaccept medical observation at designated placesfor 14 days.

2.Enhance the awareness ofinfectionprevention and self-protection ability.Oncehavesymptomoffever，dry cough, fatigue, chest tightness of unknown cause and other symptoms of acute respiratory tract infection,you shouldimmediately wear a maskand goto the nearest fever clinic fordiagnosis,early treatmentandreportto the office.

3. Activelylearn about the relevant knowledge about preventionofthenovelcoronavirus-infected pneumonia and other infectious diseases, be familiar with and practice the following health protectionmeasures, and consciously guide people around to develop a scientific, civilized and healthy lifestyle:

(1)Stay away from the source of infection, try to avoid crowded places, do not visit relativesorfriendsand do not gather together for meals. If you must go out,makesure to wear a surgical mask.Any travelling plan out of the city should be reported and approved by the officein advance.

(2)Try to stay inplaces withgoodairventilation and ventilate regularly yourhome and indoor workplaces.

(3)Takemeasuresto protect yourself, pay attention to personal hygiene, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your bendedelbow when coughing or sneezing, and wash your hands frequently.

(4) Enhance immunity, keep regular diet and rest. Do not touch or eat wild animals. Food (especially meat and eggs) should be cooked thoroughlybefore eating. Get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, and exercise.

(5) Learn to judge andselectinformation. Please pay more attention to theinfectioninformation released by the national health commission,Anhui health commission,Maanshan release andother official platforms.Follow the guidelines and do not believe and disseminate false informationand unconfirmedpersonal statements.

(6)Learn to deal with anxiety and fear. Although this is anovelvirus, there is a certain degree of uncertainty, and many people will feel that the virus is "ubiquitous" and difficult to prevent, we must learn to think rationally, believe in doctors, believe in science, and believethattheChinesegovernment will be able to overcomethis difficulty.

4.All studentswho have returned homeare not allowed to return to school before February 15 (including February 15).AHUTwill inform in advance if the registration time changes due to theinfectionsituation.The updated newswillbereleasedthrough official channels. Please keep in touch withyou advisorsand pay close attention to the school website,wechat public accounts, classwechat groups, QQ groups, etc. Please strictly abide by the rules of returning to school, do not returnin advance!

5.Theinfectionisour first priority,andthe prevention and controlwork is due to everyone’sresponsibility. Let us unite as one and win this tough fight!
